What To Expect

If you are looking for a church …

where ordinary people have joined together to make much of our extraordinary God.

where the amazing grace of God is consistently emphasized.

where the goal is faithfully teaching the Word of God and diligently applying it to daily life.

where relationships are important and mutual edification is a priority

where truth matters and is the Bible is taught without apology

Then we invite you to join us at any of our services.

What can you expect during a typical morning service at Faith?

When you attend one of our morning services, you can expect to find the reading of Scripture, prayer, singing based on the Word of God, teaching the Word of God verse by verse with the goal of understanding and applying the truth revealed in Scripture.  We want our corporate gatherings to be focused on God’s greatness, on His grace, and on His Word.

What kind of music is used in your services?

The musical aspect of our congregational gatherings is governed by the New Testament teaching on music, primarily the expression “teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs”.  We seek to find an appropriate balance of these three types of music. The music style of Faith would probably be considered conservative though we incorporate newer songs that utilize sound theology and appropriate music.

What is the teaching like at Faith?

The normal teaching at FBC consists of reading, explaining, and applying the Word of God verse by verse through a particular book of the Bible. Occasionally we will address a specific topic or theme based upon Biblical principles.  The focus in our teaching is to show how God reveals Himself in the passage to be looked at that day.  Practical application

is pursued throughout the teaching.

During our Sunday School Classes and Wednesday night services, questions are strongly encouraged. Normally there is a fair amount of group discussion.
